East Star Airlines is a private airline based in Wuhan in Hubei in China. This private airline of China operates domestic services. At present, this airline in China serves 10 routes from Wuhan but with increase in their fleet routes are expected to increase. The main base of East Star Airlines is Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.
In the year 2007 in the month of July East Star Airlines got the permission to operate international flights. This was a big achievement for East Star Airlines as this permission was granted to the airline after one year service, an exception to the CAAC’s (Civil Aviation Administration of China) requirement of three year service to operate international service.
